GET BACK ON YOUR PATH
♦️♦️♦️ GET BACK ON YOUR PATH ♦️♦️♦️ Have you ever started out working towards a goal where you were consistent and motivated and everything seemed to be “clicking” and then all of the sudden: “Life Happened”? 🔹Something at work threw you off the path. 🔹Someone at home threw you off the path. 🔹Stress with Finances threw you off the path. No matter what caused the momentum to shift, it’s difficult to capture that same excitement and motivation you had when you began. We start to beat ourselves up over our lack of perfection or lack of discipline. We create excuses, and tell ourselves “maybe it was the wrong path.” But there is a better option: 🔻Instead of judging yourself 🔻Instead of making excuses 🔻Instead of being frustrated and anger at yourself. ➡️ ➡️ ➡️ JUST GET BACK ON THE PATH. ————————————————————— Its been over a week since my last blog post. There is a part of me deep down that wants to ridicule myself for not being consistent. There is a part of me that wants to chastise myself for lack of disciple. But the hell with that. Today, I am getting back on my path. It is as simple as that. No excuses. No beating myself up. No questioning my dedication to the path.
Just start doing the work. Of course we need to practice discipline and hold ourselves accountable, but that doesn’t mean we mentally torture ourselves either. We are now in mid-February, and maybe you had a New Years revolution that has gone haywire and you are feeling “off your path.” You wanted to: 🍕 Eat better 🏋️♀️ Exercise more 📚 Read more books 👭 Spend more time with friends 💏 Have more quality time with significant other 🤦♀️ Stop complaining and find more gratitude... Whatever your goal was, get back on the path. Don’t be angry that you haven’t been perfect, because none of us are. Focus on doing better today. Just today. GET BACK IN YOUR PATH As always, I appreciate your shares, likes, and comments. They help on social media so more and more people can find and read the messages. I love you all, have a great day.
