Happy Birthday to my Amazing Parents

“It take a long time to become young.” - Pablo Picasso Happy Birthday to my amazing parents!!! Both of them were born December 8th. How crazy is that? I am so grateful that I am blessed with such wonderful parents and there is no doubt that I wouldn’t be anywhere close to the man I am today if it weren’t for their example, love, and support. Andi, You are the most caring, faithful, and thoughtful person I have every met. You always go the extra step to make sure that people feel included and cared for, and I have learned so much from you over the years in how to show up and support others. Your creativity is inspiring and seeing the things that you create has always encouraged me in my own projects. Thank you for being you. You have unconditionally supported me since the day we entered each other’s lives and I cannot wait to see what you do and whose lives you will touch with the next 40 years of your beautiful life. Chris ... My Man, Brotha, Pops, The Big Dawg, ... simply put, I am your biggest fan. You have always been my hero, and I couldn’t have had a better example of how to be a man. You are a man of character. You never had to tell me about honor, integrity, honesty, and dedication, because I witnessed them first hand my entire life. We have many conversations where we both vent and complain as people do, and then I am always reminded of who you are in the way you treat others. You may not agree with someone, you may not support something, but you are always respectful, diplomatic and dedicated to the greater good for all people. You aren’t an amazing man because you never get frustrated or upset, you are an amazing man because you do, yet you never allow it to affect the way you show up for and treat others. Your character has always been a North Star for me. I love you so much dad. Happy birthday to both of you… you are both incredible parents, unshakeable friends, and amazing leaders for the people in your world. I love you both with everything in my heart. "Let us never know what old age is. Let us know the happiness time brings, not count the years.” Ausonius (Poet)
