PUT IN THE TIME

PUT IN THE TIME

➡️ Watching a movie on Hulu....2 hours

➡️ Binging a series on Netflix.....7 hours

➡️ Dedicating a Weekend to football....8 hours

➡️ Learning a skill or obtaining knowledge that will help you reach a goal and live a fulfilled life....PRICELESS.

When was the last time you wanted to learn something? Think to that moment, take yourself back there. You went to YouTube to learn how to do ___________. You put it in the search bar, and then you saw multiple videos, which one did you select?

Was it the extremely in depth video that was 45 minutes long that would give you a better understanding of the topic??? Nah, you chose the 4 minute video and you didn't even wait to the end before you clicked the next 3 minute one didn't you?

How can we reach our goals if we are not willing to put in the time and Put in the work to learn the craft? Why are will willing to spend hours "zoning out" or "kicking back" or "passing time" and not willing to spend those hours chasing our dreams?

Now just obtaining the knowledge isn't going to magically give you your dream. Sure you can watch a video on "how to shoot a basketball like Steph Curry", and the basics might only take 10 minutes for you to learn...but it will take years of practice and shooting and repetition and work for you to achieve the goal. The amazing thing though, is you don't have to do it all, learn it all, achieve it all AT ONCE. All you have to do is take the first step...begin to learn how to do it.

➡️ Stop being afraid to pick up a book. ➡️ Stop being unwilling to sit through a 30 minute instructional video. ➡️ Stop being nervous to invest in yourself. ➡️ Stop being scared to make a choice to take action towards your goals and dreams.

Do you want to be remembered as someone who was amazing at "killing time" or fantastic at "kicking back", or do you want to live a life full of passion and work towards accomplishing the goals that will make you come alive? Only you know... put in the time.
